MY TBLF EXPERIENCE – AARON OMOSELE

My name is Aaron Omosele. I am a Data Analyst for Lionbridge and the Founder of Enlighteners Concepts and Initiatives; an initiative that enlightens the Girl Child on their reproductive health and rights.

I first came in contact with The Bridge Leadership Foundation in 2016. As a serving Corps Member posted to Cross River State in 2016, I wanted to do more in Calabar than PPA and CDS. A few months after being posted to the town, I saw a poster advert of The Bridge Leadership Foundation’s Career Day and I walked to their office asking for an opportunity to volunteer and that was the beginning of my journey with the organization.

I volunteered for the Career Day Event in 2016 and 2017, and was a facilitator in the 2017 Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Programme. I served also as a media volunteer during the 2017 Bridge Awards Event. My volunteering days with TBLF were insightful and blissful.

I have always wanted to help curb the menace of unplanned teenage pregnancy, but didn’t really know how to go about it. The training, conversations and programmes of TBLF helped to give direction to my passion and clarity to my career.

One of my climax experiences with TBLF was when they assisted my team and I to carry out a YALI event in Calabar in 2017 as a Community Development Project which got me a commendation letter from NYSC.

This is my TBLF Experience.

The Bridge Leadership Foundation is a non-profit leadership and capacity development Foundation established in 2011 committed to raising generations of transformational leaders.
