Executive Secretary


EwaJesu Asala-Fasina is the Executive Secretary of The Bridge Leadership Foundation with over a decade experience in youth development policies and enterprise development for young people. She served as a consultant to The Bridge Leadership Foundation in the development and execution of its prestigious Graduate Employability Training for four years where she had the opportunity of leading the training faculty that has empowered 400 young people since 2011 to start business and be gainfully employed in decent livelihood in various sectors across the Nigerian economy especially the South-South region.

Prior to her assuming the office of the Executive Secretary of The Bridge Leadership Foundation she was the Country Director of African Women and Youth Organization, a German non-governmental organization with a regional office in Abuja Nigeria. During her tenure she was able to build the capacity 1865 young people within the first year of operations of AWYO through the development and team implementation of projects such as FEEDER,Y Count, Citizens reporting, Graduate Integration Programme, training for Nigerian 2011 elections and Open house series funder’s meeting. She further developed The Graduate Integration programme which built the capacity of young people to establish business through enterprise training, apprenticeship and business support services to Small and youth led businesses. The programme was co-funded by TY Danjuma Foundation and German office of the AWYO.

She is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Global Fellow, an alumnus of the Pan Atlantic University Enterprise Development Centre and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. A first prize award winner of the prestigious CYBER PEACE CONTEST of Hewlett Packard- SMWIPM Egypt.

EwaJesu is a co-owner of Kinderlech Farms specialized in Birds and animal production. She believes that peace and enterprise development cannot be divorced from one another and that they share two common denominators: eradication of hunger and Young People.

Account/Administrative Manager


Oluwafunmilola Ojo is a resourceful, result oriented, focused, effective and development professional with experiences in provision of accounting, administrative support, project management and technical support in all areas of her scope. Her experiences also include, grant management and grant reporting.

Funlola joined the team in 2015 as the Account and Administrative Manager; her responsibilities include managing all financial activities of the organization and the administrative department. Prior to joining The Bridge Leadership Foundation, she worked as an Account and Administrative Manager in Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), for several years

She holds a Higher National Diploma in Financial Studies and Higher National Diploma in Accounting, both from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Nigeria. Also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

Funlola is passionate about youth and gender development.She has attended several training on Leadership and Project Management.

Programmes Officer


Giftie Umo has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Calabar. She is an Alumnus of the Bridge Leadership Foundation and passionate about social development and reform with major interest in youth and community development. Known for her excellent ability in leading any team to achieving great goals and helping young people develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills, she is innovative and has passion to convert ideas into results.

Giftie Umo has worked with several developmental organizations like the NYSC/Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and The Bridge Leadership Foundation, leading these organizations in different capacity.

Assistant Programmes Officer


Victory Ofudje is presently the program assistant of The Bridge Leadership Foundation, a dedicated and efficient young lady who is impacting positively into the lives of young people in her community. She worked with The Society for Family Health where she provided support services to the Finance/Administrative department and Programs team.

In 2012, Victory earned a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from The Federal Polytechnic Owerri, Imo State.

She is also an alumnus of The Bridge Leadership Foundation’s prestigious graduate finishing School.

Logistic Officer


Nya Asuquo joined the organization in 2011 as the Logistic Officer. He has a keen interest in youth development and has good interpersonal and communication skills, a pleasant disposition and a good sense of humour.
