The Recover Africa Youth Competition is part of the larger Recover Africa project by Fairtrade Africa and BMZ. The Recover Africa Youth Competition believes that all youth have had unique experiences during the pandemic that can be expressed through media, works of art and innovations. Why they are giving youths the opportunity to tell their COVID-19 experience and stand a chance to win 500 Euros to implement a community project of choice. The competition will be centered on the following cross-cutting themes in the agriculture and trade context:
- Climate Change
- Youth Inclusion
- Decent Livelihoods
- Gender Equality
- Impact of Covid-19
- Child Protection.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
April 23, 2021
ELIGIBILITY:
- Applicants must be an African youth aged 18-35;
- Submissions should be in video format of no longer than 3 minutes;
- Only original works should be submitted.
BENEFITS:
Six (6) winners i.e. Male & Female per category will win 500 Euros and project mentorship.
