The COVID-19 Pandemic continues to redefine and reshape how organizations operate and deploy impact initiatives across the globe and particularly in Nigeria where the situations are a bit direr. Interventions targeted at young people and children in schools who in turn reach communities require new approaches that are accessible and fitting to our target audience.
As such the 2020 Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Programme scheduled to hold in schools and communities in ABI, BIASE, YAKURR, AKAMKPA I and AKAMKPA II local government areas of Cross River State has been put on hold as we strategize and redesign our approach, methodology and tools that will ensure our programme beneficiaries achieve maximum benefits from the programme. We are engaging with our partners, stakeholders and target communities on the most appropriate approach while ensuring health and safety of everyone.
However, we continue to provide customized support to previous programme beneficiaries to help them leverage learning opportunities and support their communities with the leadership and community skills they acquired from the LCD Programme
