The Foundation facilitated a training workshop and planting exercise on the LAFARGE agriecology oil palm farm – Corporate social responsibility projects for 6 host communities – Mfamosing, Ekong-Anaku, Akansoko, Abiati, Mbobui, and Akwa Ikot Effanga. Professionals guided the exercise to ensure sustainable farming methods were adopted and approaches for maximizing productivity.
The Communities were supplied with over 1000 seedlings each and empowered to set up their farms as an effective approach to building a sustainable society and providing decent jobs and an economy.
