Leadership Advocacy Programme

Over the past quarter, The Bridge Leadership Radio Show has continued to serve as a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue, bringing critical issues to the forefront and inspiring action within our communities.

In February, we hosted a compelling conversation on “From Vision to Impact: Redefining STEM by Closing the Gender Gap.” With insights from Rose Ogah and Thomas Agba, the session highlighted the urgent need to create inclusive pathways for girls in STEM. The discussion emphasized the power of early exposure, mentorship, and collaborative efforts in breaking barriers and shaping a more equitable future.

Building on this momentum, our March edition explored “From Advocacy to Action: Are We Doing Enough for Women and Girls?” Featuring Comfort Ikpeme and Aaron Egot, the conversation challenged listeners to move beyond dialogue into deliberate, measurable action. It reinforced the importance of community-driven efforts, grassroots engagement, and equipping young people to lead change.

Across both conversations, key lessons emerged:

1. Real impact requires moving from ideas and advocacy to intentional, sustained action.

2. Empowerment begins with access, whether in education, opportunities, or safe spaces.

3. Mentorship and representation remain powerful tools in shaping confidence and outcomes.

4. Collective responsibility is essential; lasting change happens when individuals, communities, and institutions work together.

We are deeply grateful to all our guests for lending their voices and expertise to these important conversations. Their contributions continue to enrich the dialogue and inspire meaningful impact.

As we reflect on a fulfilling quarter, we are energized for what lies ahead. We look forward to bringing even more engaging conversations in the coming months, continuing to inform, inspire, and drive action where it matters most.
