From 11th – 29th August, our Calabar centre buzzed with energy as The Bridge Leadership Foundation welcomed 25 bright young minds for the 2025 Leadership & Tech Summer Bootcamp. For three weeks, these secondary school students and recent graduates embarked on a journey that stretched far beyond the classroom—into discovery, creativity, and transformation.
Each day was filled with learning and laughter. The Fellows sharpened their teamwork, communication, and self-awareness while also venturing into hands-on tech skills like Video Editing, Graphics Design, Animation, and Web Design. Their creativity found new expression in Arts & Crafts, and their horizons expanded during educational excursions that opened their eyes to new possibilities.
One of the most powerful moments came during the Tech Innovation Projects. Divided into teams, participants brainstormed and built real solutions to pressing social challenges—proving that leadership, when blended with technology, can spark innovation that truly matters.
The journey ended with a colourful graduation and exhibition, where parents and guests proudly watched these young leaders showcase their projects. The joy in their parents’ voices, expressed through heartfelt testimonials, reminded us why we do what we do. In just three weeks, these 25 young people didn’t just gain new skills—they gained confidence, courage, and a renewed vision of who they can become.
For us at TBLF, the Bootcamp was more than a programme—it was a success story, one that affirms our mission to raise generations of transformational leaders. Our deepest gratitude goes to the facilitators, staff, and volunteers whose passion and dedication made this possible.
The future is brighter because these young leaders are ready to shape it.
