The 2022 programme activities kicked off in twelve (12) schools beginning with sensitization of Teachers and students about the objectives and scope of the programme. On the side of the Teachers, the aim was to ensure that the programme is successful and sustainable; while for the students, the purpose was to provide a leveled-playing ground for any student who wishes to participate in the programme.
Resulting from the general orientation, an average of 80 students indicated interest to participate in the programme at the respective schools.
So far, only three schools have been able to coordinate interested students to take the onboarding examination held at their schools. The other nine schools have not been able to achieve the same, due to the terminal examination that is currently going on in the respective secondary schools in Calabar.
