Following the conclusion of the 2018 LCD Tour, in-depth training activity commenced in 14 Schools across the focus LGAs. Led by trained facilitators who are volunteers from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), teenagers are gaining insightful and practical knowledge, skills and experience in leadership and community development efforts.

Week 1 of 6 training which focused on self-awareness, vision and goal setting ended with interesting learning outcomes, key commitments and action plan to become better leaders and community change agents. Other training to come include teamwork, leadership, problem solving, creativity and innovation, community service, hygiene, communication, accountability and integrity, time management, career planning and community service projects.

At the end of the six (6) weeks programme, outstanding students will be rewarded with a one-year academic scholarship support.
