CALL FOR ENTRIES: PIN PUNCHY POETRY (A 60-second spoken word contest on Instagram) – Poets in Nigeria (PIN) Initiative is pleased to announce the commencement of the fourth edition of PIN Punchy Poetry.
PIN Punchy Poetry, an initiative of Poets In Nigeria, is a 50 – 60 second spoken word contest on Instagram. Entries will be entertained between 7th May to 7th June.
To enable discussion on unfamiliar themes, this year’s edition is themed “STATE OF THE NATION”.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
June 7, 2021.
ELIGIBILITY:
- The contest is open to all irrespective of location and age;
- Upload a video of yourself reciting a poem on your Instagram page.
- Follow and tag @nigerianpoets
- Use the hashtag #pinpunchypoetry
- Duration: 50 – 60seconds
NOTE:
- Endeavor to adhere to the specified theme.
- Check for sound and video quality before uploading for the contest
