Leadership Advocacy Programme (LAP)

The Bridge Leadership Foundation’s October edition of the Leadership Advocacy Programme Radio Talk Show was centered on the theme “MEASURING THE PULSE OF CIVIC PARTICIPATION: HOW CAN NIGERIANS BE INVOLVED?” and our guest on the show was Bernice Abeku (EPLF 2022 Fellow and Technical assistant to the Executive Chairman, Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, KADIRS) and Barrister Freedom Bassey (EPLF 2022 Fellow and Legal Practitioner).

The talk show was an engaging experience in the studio as discussions centered on how citizen participation (or lack thereof) shapes the current state of any nation, including Nigeria, and what everyone needs to do to secure the future of the next generations.

The guests educated the public on the call to action; a need for a shift in Nigeria’s civic culture toward inclusive civic activism designed to trigger participation, long-term political development, and social change.

The conversation was aired live on @hitfmcalabar 95.9 FM and you can watch the replay on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tblfoundatn/videos/1278595556016851/
