Mapping of schools across 4 LGAs for LCD and TSP programs

In March, school visitation and mapping was conducted across Abi, Yakurr, Biase and Akamkpa 1&2 local government areas. The activities include stakeholder engagement with executive secretaries of each LGA education board as well as principals of the public secondary schools. The Teachers’ Support Programme (TSP), aims at equipping teachers with improved skills in communication, digital awareness and student relation amongst others. The Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Programme seeks to engage and develop students in secondary schools with community development skills and to inspire them to lead themselves and others by identifying and solving community problems. A total of 15 schools, 3 across each LGA have been identified and selected. Teachers across the selected schools are now been invited to participate in a 3-days training.
