MY TBLF EXPERIENCE -MICHAEL OTESANYA

My name is Michael Otesanya, the Lead Volunteer of Imperial Leadership Foundation and a beneficiary of the Volunteer’s Appreciation Award. I work as the Head, Training & Development for Vantage Consulting. The year 2016, during my NYSC, was when I first knew of The Bridge Leadership Foundation; I came across their 6th Career Day banner at the Cultural Center and I thought of volunteering. The conference really opened my eyes to another dimension about life with profound and insightful words from the late Ubong King, Jimi Tewe, RT. Hon. Onofiok Luke, Kola Oyeneyin, Saudat Salami etc.

The experience was phenomenal. I did not want things to come to an end and gracefully, it did not. The Foundation is great with volunteers’ engagement. Just a few months after the Career Day Conference, I was one of the volunteer-trainers for the Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Programme. It availed me the opportunity to see another angle to selfless service to humanity and the essence of education in the growth and development of the society.

I still count TBLF as one of my many blessings. The Foundation made my service year a fulfilling one. I am very happy to be identified with TBLF, because I had the privilege of working with progressive minded volunteers, a few of whom I still have active bonds with.

This is my TBLF Experience.

The Bridge Leadership Foundation is a non-profit leadership and capacity development Foundation established in 2011 committed to raising generations of transformational leaders.
