Yearly, The Bridge Leadership Foundation embarks on a youth/teenagers focused programme known as Leadership Community Development (LCD). This year, the programme has been scheduled to begin September 2018 and to end November 2018.
The programme aims at making teenagers between the ages of 12-18 understand their roles as change agents in the society they live in. The programme focuses on building self-esteem, developing leadership skills and promoting community development.
TBLF initiated this programme in 2015 and it has been one of the thematic programmes of the organization. Secondary schools from different local government areas of Cross River State have benefitted from this wonderful programme and they all have success stories to share.
This year, TBLF would be going to Abi, Etung, Obanliku, Obudu and Yala local government areas of Cross River State to implement LCD 2018 with the aim of reaching out to 450 students across 15 schools over the course of 6 weeks that the programme would run!
